Hello! I’m Lorna :)
I’ve been an executive leader, helping scale a startup from an idea to a Series B business with 98% market adoption and commercial success. I’ve managed multiple senior leaders, teams, and departments in fast-paced, challenging environments. I’ve worked with numerous NHS teams to understand their needs and implement real change. With over a decade of experience at the intersection of digital health, product, UX, and management, I’ve dedicated my career to solving complex problems and driving lasting impact.
I began my career in digital health at the Nuffield Department of Surgery, University of Oxford. I worked across primary and secondary care, collaborating with NHS frontline staff to improve their systems. These experiences taught me the importance of spending time with people on the ground to deeply understand their challenges—and how to implement solutions that work in complex environments.
This shaped my work when I joined Accurx as employee number five. I played a key role in scaling the company from startup to scaleup, achieving product-market fit, commercialising the product, and driving 98% market adoption. As VP UX and a member of the executive team, I had the privilege of building and leading teams across User Research, Design, and Support, as well as taking on interim responsibilities managing leaders in Product, People, and Operations. I have an in-depth knowledge of the NHS, and know what it takes to go from an idea into execution. I’ve led teams in high-growth environments, and know how to create a culture where people thrive.
Now, I work with impact-driven companies to do the same. Through leadership support, coaching, and line management training, I empower people, strengthen teams, and help organisations create lasting impact.
